As Transformation Program Director, you will lead the delivery and recovery of a complex, organisation wide IT transformation aligned to the strategic priorities. Partnering closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and Board, you will provide strong leadership to program teams, own end-to-end delivery across scope, budget, risk and benefits, and act as the key engagement point for customer and member executives to ensure successful transition into business-as-usual and long-term value realisation.
- Define and lead the end-to-end transformation program delivering a modernised core platform aligned to the client strategy
- Set and manage clear short- and long-term objectives, contributing to organisational strategic planning
- Engage with and present to the Board and Board sub committees, providing clear governance and reporting
- Lead program recovery and oversee all phases of delivery across complex budgets, timelines, and resources
- Establish effective ways of working, continuous improvement practices and transition readiness to BAU
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks, dependencies and delivery roadblocks using data-driven decision making
- Lead engagement with customer and member executives, delivery partners and key internal stakeholders
- Drive clear, consistent, and effective communication across the organisation
- Build and lead high-performing, collaborative teams, championing professional development and performance
- Promote the values, teamwork, knowledge sharing and a strong customer-focused culture
- Ensure program risks, compliance and safety obligations are managed within the frameworks and risk appetite
- Senior transformation leader with a proven record delivering and recovering large, complex programs in regulated, stakeholder-rich environments.
- Experience as a Program Director leading enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.
Proven ability to recover challenging programs and deliver under pressure - Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Deep expertise in program governance, change management, and transition to business as usual
- High financial acumen, managing large transformation budgets effectively
- Collaborative, decisive, and outcome-oriented leadership style
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior transformation or program director role
- Experience collaborating with external partners and vendors to deliver complex solutions
- Willingness to travel interstate as required
