Talent Partner

A Talent Partner role at Harrison McMillan brings together the pace and variety of agency with the structure and stakeholder depth of internal talent acquisition and HR teams.
As a Talent Partner, you will lead structured recruitment campaigns and support clients with HR administration and advisory across clients and industries, delivering defined projects from briefing through to final placement.
You’ll experience the agility and energy of agency balanced with the governance, partnership and strategic influence typically found in in-house environments.
This is not a traditional 360 agency role.
And it’s not a single-business internal TA role either.

It’s a hybrid role designed for recruitment and HR professionals who want:
  • The momentum and urgency of agency
  • The structure, process and stakeholder depth of internal
  • The satisfaction of delivering clearly scoped recruitment projects
  • Exposure to varied industries and workforce challenges
  • The opportunity to present, influence and partner at a senior level
You will manage end-to-end recruitment and HR projects within structured project frameworks, facilitate stakeholder briefings, contribute to workforce planning discussions, deliver high-quality reporting and ensure governance and candidate experience remain front and centre.
If you enjoy solving workforce challenges, leading recruitment campaigns with discipline, and seeing a project successfully delivered from start to finish, this is the sweet spot.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven recruitment experience (agency or internal), ideally within professional or white-collar sectors
  • Interest in learning and support on HR projects
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end recruitment
  • Exposure to recruitment campaigns or project-based delivery (Desirable)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation capability
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environments
  • Commercial awareness and outcome focus
  • High attention to detail and strong written communication
  • Experience in government or merit-based environments (advantageous)
  • Tech-savvy and confident working across multiple systems

Who This Role Suits
This role will suit someone who:
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments but values structure and leadership support
  • Enjoys variety and working across multiple clients
  • Wants to partner deeply with stakeholders, not just fill roles
  • Is energised by delivery and measurable outcomes
  • Takes pride in quality, governance and candidate experience
  • Can identify where improvements can be made  and confidently communicate solutions
  • Is ambitious and looking to elevate their impact beyond traditional agency or internal recruitment
