About the CompanyAustralian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible for designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities. Role Overview
This role leads the development and delivery of ANI’s climate and sustainability function, embedding sustainability-related strategy, governance and risk management across the organisation. It drives monitoring and reporting in relation to AASB S2 climate disclosures, strengthens infrastructure resilience, and translates sustainability initiatives into real business value. The role works closely with stakeholders to manage climate risk, improve data and reporting, and future-proof the organisation. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Australian citizenship and ability to gain and maintain a Baseline security clearance

Strong expertise in climate risk, sustainability strategy and reporting frameworks (such as AASB S2 or equivalent)

Proven experience developing and operationalising governance frameworks and sustainability systems

Advanced capability in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions measurement, scenario analysis and risk assessment

High-level analytical skills with experience using data, reporting and assurance tools

Ability to influence senior stakeholders, including executive-level audiences

Demonstrated experience working in complex, highly regulated or asset-intensive environments

Relevant tertiary qualification in sustainability, environmental management, engineering, finance, accounting or a related field
