Supply Chain Systems Officer

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Supply Chain Systems Officer to join a busy government environment on a full-time temporary assignment. This four-week contract offers the chance to support critical supply chain systems and ensure data integrity within a collaborative team.

Our client is a large government organisation committed to delivering efficient and reliable services to the community. They are seeking a motivated professional to provide systems and administrative support within their supply chain function.

Role Overview
Working within the Supply Chain team, you will provide systems administration and user support to ensure supply chain and procurement systems operate effectively. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate system data, completing bulk data updates, investigating data issues, and providing administrative support to the existing Supply Chain Systems Officer.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Adelaide CBD, commencing in mid-August for an initial four-week assignment.

About the Person
You are a detail-oriented professional with experience working with supply chain or procurement systems. You enjoy problem-solving, have a high level of accuracy, and can quickly learn new processes and systems. You are proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced administrative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide systems administration support for supply chain and procurement systems.
  • Complete accurate data entry and bulk system updates.
  • Investigate and correct incomplete or inaccurate system records.
  • Maintain data integrity across multiple systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the Supply Chain Systems Officer as required.
  • Assist with user support and system-related enquiries.
  • Ensure tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
 
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience using supply chain and/or procurement systems.
  • Experience providing systems administration or user support.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and systems maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and concepts.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
