Role Overview
We are seeking a Structural Engineer (Studies) to contribute technical expertise across structural investigations, design, audits, and advisory services. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, fit-for-purpose engineering outcomes across major infrastructure projects, while promoting Safety in Design and technical compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake structural engineering investigations, scoping, and design for a range of infrastructure projects.
- Provide technical auditing, advice, and support to internal teams and external partners.
- Champion Safety in Design principles throughout project development and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and corporate frameworks.
- Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
- Support the continual improvement and maintenance of engineering standards and guidelines.
- Identify and evaluate new and emerging technologies to enhance design and operational performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential).
- Chartered status or eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia (desirable).
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, procedures, and design practices.
- Experience in the investigation, concept, and detailed design of structural components in large-scale infrastructure environments (preferably water or utilities sector).
- Familiarity with technical auditing, compliance, and Safety in Design practices.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel within South Australia as required.
