Role Overview
As a Senior M365 Security Consultant, you will design, implement, and manage M365 security tools at the tenant level, ensuring seamless integration with the overall security architecture.
Key Responsibilities
· Designing, configuring and maintaining M365 security tools (Intune, Defender, EntraID)
· Integrating M365 tools with infrastructure and SIEM (e.g., Sentinel) for threat detection
· Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and NIST
· Automating security tasks using PowerShell and KQL
· Supporting incident response with event analysis and threat insights
· Advising on M365 licensing and cost optimization strategies
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· Expert in M365 security tools: Defender, Intune, Entra ID (Sentinel & Purview a plus)
· Experience with tenant-level security configurations
· Applied security tools in real-world environments
· Strong grasp of M365 compliance and governance
· Skilled in Zero Trust and Conditional Access design
· Knowledge of SIEM integrations
· Proficient in PowerShell, KQL, and automation
