Role Overview
As an events manager, you will be responsible for the inception, development and execution of small and large-scale events. You will be expected to manage a team to ensure delivery of event requirements, as well as build a customer-centric culture. Internal, member or customer events will be created against set objectives, brand building, revenue generation and member benefit awareness. This role will also assist with hosting and presenting at events as a shared responsibility with other staff members.

We are looking for a personable and engaged individual with the ability to converse professionally with all level stakeholders and have excellent customer service skills. Your negotiation, business development and commercial skills should be strong, as well as your ability to lead a team.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Extensive experience in event management, including major event delivery
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level planning, administration and financial management skills
- Skills in negotiation, business development and commercial
- Team management experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
