Role Overview
This is a senior, hands on bookkeeping role with genuine scope and accountability. Working closely with the leadership team, you will take ownership of the day to day finance function, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuity across bookkeeping, payroll and reporting.
The role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business, understands operational environments, and values contributing beyond a narrow transactional remit.

About the Person
This opportunity will appeal to either:
  • A Senior Bookkeeper or Accountant currently working in a professional services or accounting firm environment who is looking to transition into a commercial role, or
  • An experienced commercial Bookkeeper who enjoys being hands on, team oriented, and accountable for outcomes.
  • You will be comfortable working with autonomy, confident engaging with stakeholders, and motivated by being part of a business where your contribution is visible and valued.
Key Responsibilities
  • End to end bookkeeping and financial processing
  • Payroll processing and oversight
  • Invoicing, debtor management and reconciliations
  • BAS preparation and reporting
  • Supporting continuous improvement of finance systems and processes
  • Working collaboratively across the business
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Senior Bookkeeper role
  • Xero experience is essential
  • BAS registration is required
  • Payroll experience in a multi employee environment
  • Experience supporting SME or owner led businesses
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgement
