Harrison McMillan is seeking an experienced Senior AI Business Analyst to support AI-enabled business transformation, requirements analysis, rapid prototyping, and delivery within a Federal Government environment.
This is a long-term 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option and is based in ACT. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with an office presence generally expected 2-3 days per week.
Due to the nature of this role, a Baseline security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead rapid prototyping sessions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform and Azure Foundry.
- Elicit, analyse and document business, data and AI requirements into epics, features and user stories.
- Develop acceptance criteria, test cases and evaluation frameworks for AI-enabled solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery activities and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.
- Support AI governance, privacy, security, records management and change management activities.
- Demonstrated capability to elicit, analyse and translate business needs into process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery-ready artefacts.
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools within the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI, privacy, security, human oversight, explainability, bias mitigation, records management and governance.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops, engage stakeholders, communicate complex AI concepts and support adoption and training.
