As our valued Registered Nurse at Kalyra Woodcroft Residential Aged Care, you’ll ensure the best possible quality of life for our residents. By providing clinical and personal care to residents you’ll contribute to a safe, home-like environment that upholds residents’ comfort, independence and dignity.
Part of your responsibilities will include adhering to established policies, procedures, and guidelines while administering medication, conducting wound care, and supervising Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Workers. You'll also liaise with resident stakeholders, including family members and health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care planning and effective communication.
Your role extends to implementing and maintaining resident care plans, conducting assessment activities, and monitoring care worker practice to ensure consistent service delivery focused on wellness and person-centered care.

We have a range of casual shifts available, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
What you'll bring
You’re a compassionate, empathetic and resilient person who deeply respects and seeks to enhance the well-being and dignity of older people. Your excellent care and interpersonal skills will facilitate our residents’ comfort and privacy, and you respect their individual preferences, values and beliefs.
You will have over three years of experience working as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in providing person-centred care within a Memory Support Unit.
You’ll also need:
- AHPRA Registration?
- A committed approach to person-centred care and compliance standards
- National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- NDIS Workers Check or willingness to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR accreditation
- 3 x covid vaccinations? and annual influenza vaccination
