Role Overview
As the Recruitment and Onboarding Officer, you’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising to onboarding. You'll work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver timely, professional recruitment advice and support the development of fair and consistent hiring practices.

You are an organised, service-focused professional with experience in recruitment and a passion for helping others succeed. You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and integrity. You're confident working independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including advertising, screening, interviews, and reference checks
- Provide recruitment consultancy and advice to hiring managers and teams
- Ensure the effective onboarding of new employees
- Maintain accurate records in recruitment systems and databases
- Prepare recruitment reports, briefing notes, and documentation
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment practices and contribute to wider organisational learning initiatives
- Working knowledge of public sector or similar employment legislation and practices, experience in aged care and disability sector is desirable
- Proficiency in e-recruitment systems (experience with CHRIS21 is advantageous).
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and advise.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled in preparing clear, concise written documentation.
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach to reviewing applications and solving issues.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable).
