Role Overview
The Project Manager role is responsible for the end-to-end project delivery and ensuring completion on time and within budget. The role involves managing subcontractor packages, maintaining project financials, and ensuring WHSEQ compliance. Strong stakeholder management and leadership are essential to drive performance, resolve issues, and support project teams in achieving profitability and quality outcomes.
About the Person
The successful candidate will be a motivated and organised professional with strong leadership skills. They are proactive, driven, and bring focus and problem-solving skills to deliver quality results. Experience in Project, People, or Construction Management is desirable, as well as skills in Microsoft Project, Office Suite, CHEOPS, or Procore.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
- Oversee subcontractor packages and ensure accurate scoping of works.
- Monitor project financials, cashflow, and profitability.
- Lead stakeholder engagement with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with WHSEQ requirements and maintain safe worksites.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management and People Management
- Sound building and technical knowledge
- Proven commercial acumen and deadline driven
- Industry White Card
- Building License or Supervisor’s Registration
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
