A senior Organisational Development role delivering enterprise-wide performance, talent, culture and workforce initiatives that genuinely move the dial.

A large, complex public-sector organisation with a strong mandate around safety, wellbeing, inclusion and long-term capability building. The organisation is investing heavily in leadership, culture and workforce sustainability.

Role Overview
This role partners closely with senior leaders and People teams to design, deliver and continuously improve organisation-wide OD initiatives. You’ll lead end-to-end performance and development processes, support talent and succession planning, uplift leadership capability, and play a key role in shaping organisational culture and engagement.
This is a hands-on, influential role for an OD professional who enjoys balancing strategy with delivery and thrives in complex environments.

About the Person
You’re a confident OD practitioner who knows how to influence without authority, bring data to life, and design frameworks that actually get used. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, juggling multiple initiatives, and working with leaders who expect both credibility and practicality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the full performance and development cycle, including tools, communications, training and moderation frameworks
  • Design and embed talent and succession frameworks, supporting talent reviews and development planning
  • Support leadership development initiatives aligned to workforce strategy and engagement insights
  • Contribute to organisational culture and engagement programs, including survey coordination and analysis
  • Maintain and review strategic workforce planning profiles and data inputs
  • Design and deliver graduate and intern programs, including rotations, development activities and partnerships
  • Support OD projects including onboarding, induction, engagement initiatives and leadership capability uplift
  • Measure impact and effectiveness of OD initiatives using data-driven insights

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources, Organisational Development or similar
  • Demonstrated experience delivering organisation-wide OD initiatives
  • Strong project management, research and analytical capability
  • High-level written and verbal communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in strategic workforce planning (desirable)
