Role Overview
This role is critical to ensuring the effective coordination and scheduling of site wide maintenance activities, while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the CMMS and supporting broader asset management and reliability strategies. You will be responsible for delivering maintenance schedules across multiple departments, supporting engineering and maintenance teams to deliver planned works efficiently and ensuring maintenance workorders, asset information and reliability data are accurately maintained within the CMMS. The role also requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to balance operational priorities, plant access requirements and ongoing production demands.
About the Person
You will ideally have a combination of technical capability, planning expertise and stakeholder management skills. Coopers Brewery is seeking an individual with demonstrated experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, CMMS administration and asset management practices, ideally within a manufacturing, FMCG, brewing or industrial processing environment. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative, team-oriented approach will be essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the effective scheduling of the sites maintenance plans and ensure the CMMS accurately reflects the agreed Reliability strategies and meets stakeholder needs
- Coordinate work priorities from multiple departments
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for plant access.
- Work alongside engineering and maintenance supervisors to ensure schedules are delivered.
- Ensure metrics for maintenance workorder backlogs and execution are met.
- Release daily and weekly job plans for trades execution for fitters, electricians, apprentices and contracted support.
- Update the CMMS as required with new capital and reliability strategy improvements
- Update the CMMS to accurately reflect work to be done and parts used to ensure accuracy of future planning
- Contribute to working to a safe environment by complying with Coopers Safety Program
- Participate in the improvement of the quality system by complying with Quality & HACCP programs, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
- Strong experience in Asset Management techniques and processes.
- Technical understanding of the plant and services within a brewery operation. (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining a CMMS
