Manage the lifecycle of IT assets across a large organisation, ensuring accurate records, licensing compliance, and smooth procurement and deployment. This role is key to delivering efficient IT operations during times of change. Role Overview
As an IT Asset Analyst, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, maintaining records in ServiceNow and co-ordinating procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement. You will work with vendors and technical teams to resolve issues, provide accurate reporting, and support asset reconciliation and deployment projects. What they are looking for

Maintain IT asset records in ServiceNow

Co-ordinate procurement, deployment, and retirement activities

Monitor utilisation and compliance with licensing

Conduct audits, reconciliations, and reporting

Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues as required

Collaborate with technical teams for correct asset assignment and support

Support large-scale asset reconciliation and transformation projects

Experience in IT Asset Management (hardware/software lifecycle)

ServiceNow Asset & Configuration Management proficiency
-
Asset inventory, database, and reporting skills
-
Knowledge of hardware, software licensing, and compliance
-
Procurement process and vendor management experience

Familiarity with CMDB and asset-to-service relationships

Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills

ITIL® Foundation (Asset & Configuration Management)
-
IAITAM certifications (CHAMP, CSAM)
-
ServiceNow or vendor certifications in asset management
-
Procurement, contract, or supply chain certification
-
Microsoft licensing and compliance experience
-
IT asset management or IT operations in medium/large organisations
-
Exposure to government or enterprise IT environments
-
Experience in refresh projects, rollouts, or upgrades
