Role Overview
The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in delivering effective people strategies and day-to-day HR support during a peak period. Working closely with senior leaders and the broader HR team, you will be responsible for advising on employee relations matters, driving HR initiatives, and ensuring alignment between people practices and business objectives. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract requiring immediate availability.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and capable HR professional with demonstrated experience in a business partnering capacity. You will possess sound knowledge of employment legislation, well-developed interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex workplace matters with professionalism and discretion. You are solutions-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide HR guidance to leaders on performance management, employee conduct, and engagement

Manage and support employee relations matters in accordance with policy and legislation

Assist in the delivery of HR programs, cyclical processes, and change initiatives

Partner with business units to identify workforce needs and implement appropriate solutions

Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team to ensure consistent service delivery
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Substantial experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior Advisor role

In-depth knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations practices

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities

Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple demands

Experience working in complex or evolving organisational environments

Proficiency with HRIS platforms and reporting tools is desirable
