Harrison McMillan is seeking two experienced Front End React Developers to join a high-performing digital delivery team working on the development, support, and enhancement of large-scale web applications.
This is with in the higher education space, you'll be a part of mature and established delivery teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain modern, scalable front-end interfaces using React and JavaScript
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences
- Use design systems (e.g. Storybook, ZeroHeight) to ensure consistency across the platform
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous data flows
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprints, and planning sessions
- Ensure code is well-documented, accessible, and aligned with web standards
- 3+ years development experience in Front end Javascript development (React)
- Passion for frontend web technology, problem solving and dev ops
- Experience with design systems (ZeroHeight & Story Book)
- Experience with REST based APIs and asynchronous JavaScript
- Experience in the following support tools: Jira or equivalent
- Experience with Agile SCRUM Framework
Key Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience using React and JavaScript
