Role Overview
The Financial Accounting and Treasury Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial compliance, financial accounting, debtor management, and strategic treasury functions. You’ll lead a team across two states, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cashflow visibility, and process improvement aligned to LHG’s growth and governance priorities. This position reports to the Financial Controller and collaborates with operational and corporate stakeholders, banking partners, and auditors.
About the Person
The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA-qualified finance professional with demonstrated experience in financial accounting, treasury management, cashflow and corporate governance. Strong leadership skills, a collaborative approach, and the ability to manage competing deadlines are essential, along with a commitment to integrity and best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial accounting functions, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with audit, tax, accounting standards, and relevant legislation across SA and VIC
- Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, and debtor processes
- Lead and support a finance team operating across two states
- Identify and implement system and process improvements to strengthen financial governance
- Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- CA, CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior financial accounting role
- Strong working knowledge of Australian accounting standards and compliance
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; TechnologyOne desirable
- Experience in aged care, health, or not-for-profit sectors will be well regarded
