Bring structure, ideas and smarter ways of working to a growing firm
Resolve is a modern family law firm that approaches things differently. Based in North Adelaide, the firm is known for strategic, practical and human-centered legal support and a genuine focus on doing things better for clients and for its people.
Resolve is growing and is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join in a newly created role, supporting its Executive Director and Managing Director.
Role Overview
This is a newly created Executive Assistant role offering the opportunity to build a genuine partnership with two senior leaders and help shape how they work. As owners of the business, the Directors are closely aligned on strategy and direction, but bring different working styles to how they operate day to day and you will need to adapt your approach to each.
One Director thinks in big picture, strategic terms, and will value someone who can help turn ideas into clear actions, bring structure to a busy schedule and create space for focused strategic thinking. The other works more closely across operational detail and will rely on you to manage a high volume of activity, coordinate leadership meetings, track actions and help drive accountability.
You will need to understand how each Director works and adapt your approach accordingly, while having the confidence to ask questions, sense check priorities and respectfully challenge when appropriate. Alongside executive support, the role will include project coordination, stakeholder engagement and opportunities to improve systems, processes and ways of working.
About the Person
You are an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives on building trusted partnerships with the leaders you support. You are highly organised and naturally proactive, anticipating needs before they arise and bringing clarity, structure and follow-through to competing priorities. You enjoy creating order from complexity and are equally comfortable managing day-to-day operations while thinking several steps ahead.
You exercise sound judgement, knowing when to take ownership, when to seek direction and when to respectfully challenge or offer a different perspective. You have a continuous improvement mindset, are curious about smarter ways of working and enjoy leveraging technology, systems and processes to create lasting efficiencies. Most importantly, you build trust quickly, remain calm under pressure and are exceptionally detail-oriented. You take pride in enabling others to perform at their best while contributing to the long-term success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage complex diaries, inboxes, meetings and competing priorities across two Directors.
-
Anticipate upcoming requirements and proactively keep both Directors organised and prepared.

-
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and introduce more efficient ways of working.
-
Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, briefing information and other executive documentation.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
-
Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Personal Assistant or similar support for senior leaders.
-
Strong diary, inbox and priority management skills.
-
Confidence supporting multiple executives with different personalities and working styles.
-
Highly proactive with the ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for direction.
-
Strong judgement and the confidence to respectfully challenge or push back when appropriate.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Strong stakeholder management skills and a professional, polished approach.
-
Tech savvy with an interest in using systems and technology to improve efficiency.
-
Adaptable and calm when priorities change or workloads increase.
