The IT Support & Compliance Specialist will play a key role in maintaining the group technology environment, supporting staff, and ensuring compliance with information security and privacy obligations. A major part of this role involves coordinating with external service providers and third-party specialists to manage risks, strengthen systems, and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
This role includes a hands-on role that combines day-to-day IT support with oversight of compliance and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support to internal staff, including troubleshooting, account setup, and systems access.
- Monitor systems and applications for unusual activity, escalating issues where required.
- Coordinate with external third-party providers on security monitoring, incident response, and system improvements.
- Assist with risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reporting.
- Manage user access controls, authentication, and account provisioning in line with policy.
- Contribute to IT and compliance policy development and ensure staff awareness training is delivered.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance purposes, including evidence of patching, testing, and incident handling.
- Stay informed of emerging risks, technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to IT, security, and compliance.
- Need experience in Intune, Network Connectivity and onsite troubleshooting of the devices.
