Harrison McMillan is supporting one of our major clients in sourcing a Business Analyst to drive critical IT projects across the organisation during a major period of transformation.
Role Overview
- Work across multiple interdependent IT projects, supporting enhancements and strategic initiatives
- Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder workshops and process mapping
- Develop current and future state documentation for people, process, systems, and data
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
- Partner with developers, analysts, and senior stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
- Create high-quality documentation, including business cases and reports for executive review
- Prioritise competing tasks effectively across simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- 5+ years' experience in business analysis within large and complex environments
- Strong experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies
- Proven capability in data analysis and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent facilitation, documentation, and communication skills
- Experience delivering in unstructured or ambiguous project settings
- Desirable: Higher Education experience, Agile certifications, or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, IIBA)
