Role Overview
Reporting to a senior advisor, the Project Officer will provide analytical, administrative and project support across travel, rostering, leave systems and employee entitlement matters. The role involves supporting data analysis, audit activities, process documentation, stakeholder coordination and system improvement initiatives to ensure compliant and consistent practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide project and administrative support across travel, rostering and employee entitlement activities
- Assist with data extraction, validation, reconciliation and variance analysis
- Support audit and remediation activities across large and complex datasets
- Prepare reports, briefings, correspondence and project documentation
- Maintain registers, action logs, audit trails and version control records
- Support stakeholder engagement and coordination with internal and external parties
- Assist with the development of business rules, procedures and system controls
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and governance processes
- Experience providing project, analytical or administrative support in a complex environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or variances
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience preparing reports, briefings and correspondence for management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally
- Experience working with payroll, rostering or shared services environments will be highly regarded
- Qualifications in business, human resources, payroll or a related field are desirable
- Some intra/interstate travel may be required, including occasional overnight stays
- Successful applicants will be required to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working With Children Check
