Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, as the Senior Manager, Enterprise Cyber Security & Resilience, you will lead the strategic and operational management of ARTC’s cyber security function across both corporate and operational domains. The role will require strong leadership, strategic thinking, internal/external engagement all whilst developing and maintaining policies, frameworks, and controls to proactively manage cyber risk and protect ARTC’s critical infrastructure.
You’ll be responsible for enhancing the cyber capability to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats, while ensuring compliance is aligned to regulatory and government requirements. The role also contributes to the broader organisational resilience framework, supporting business continuity, crisis response, and recovery planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Cyber Security and Resilience team, including internal staff and external service providers, to ensure operational excellence and accountability.
- As a member of the Systems & Technology leadership team, play a key role in providing strategic leadership, expert guidance, and fostering collaborative leadership across the technology team and business partners..
- Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ARTC’s Cyber Security Strategy, roadmap, and maturity assessments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Cyber Security frameworks, policies, standards, and government/regulatory requirements.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of ARTC’s Organisational Resilience Framework.
- Champion cyber security awareness and training across the organisation, driving engagement and culture change.
- Represent ARTC in relevant cyber security forums, industry groups, and with government/regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and peers across the rail, utilities, and transport sectors to share insights and strengthen ARTC’s cyber posture.
- Work with strategic security partners to understand the evolving threat landscape and adapt ARTC’s cyber strategy accordingly.
- Ensure cyber security is embedded early in the planning and design stages of business projects.
