Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Cyber Security is responsible for leading the Group’s Cyber Security function, driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide cyber security strategies and capabilities. This role ensures that cyber security remains a key consideration across all architectural roadmaps, technology solutions, and operational practices.

Working in close partnership with business and technology stakeholders, the Senior Manager plays a critical role in aligning cyber security initiatives with organisational objectives while balancing the demands of strategic project delivery and business as usual operations.

The role provides strong leadership to a multidisciplinary cyber security team, fostering collaboration and capability uplift to ensure proactive threat management and risk mitigation. It also involves shaping long-term strategic direction, ensuring the function evolves in step with business growth, emerging technologies, and changing risk and regulatory environments.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience
 
  • Proven leadership in cyber and information security, including risk management methodologies and application of frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, CPS234, CPG235, and APRA standards.
  • Extensive experience driving business and systems architecture improvements using flexible, sustainable architecture principles.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide information systems and process improvement programs.
  • Track record in stakeholder management, managing internal teams, external vendor partnerships, and overseeing budgets and resources.
  • Solid understanding of information systems, software development life cycle (SDLC), and project/portfolio management within commercial environments.
