Role Overview
This role is responsible for delivering prompt, accountable, and high-quality technical support to the organisation’s end users while consistently demonstrating exceptional customer service and alignment with CMV Group values. Acting as an escalation point and educator for IT Analysts, the role provides hands-on support across endpoint and device lifecycle management, configuration and policy management, application management, identity and access management, and endpoint security. Strong experience leveraging Microsoft 365 technologies including Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and Microsoft Defender is highly advantageous. The position is accountable for maintaining a highly available, secure, predictable, and business-aligned IT operating environment and supports the delivery of strategic and operational projects. The role also promotes security best practices, supports governance and compliance requirements, coaches team members, engages with vendors and stakeholders, and ensures health, safety, and documentation standards are consistently met. Regular site visits within South Australia and occasional interstate travel are required.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Endpoints using Intune, including device enrolment, compliance, configuration profiles, security baselines, update management, and application deployment
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Autopilot, Defender, Purview Information Protection, and Data Loss Prevention
- Demonstrated experience managing identity lifecycle processes, role-based access control, and conditional access policies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and endpoint-related issues, acting as an escalation point when required
- Experience supporting incident, problem, and change management processes in a structured IT environment
- Understanding of cyber security principles and the ability to operate in line with organisational security policies and standards
- Experience contributing to IT projects, including planning, documentation, and implementation activities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to educate and support users and junior team members
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently and meet service expectations
