We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to step into a critical contract role supporting a large, operational workforce within a complex and fast-paced environment. This vacancy has arisen due to maternity backfill.
This is an opportunity to provide immediate impact during a period of transition, partnering closely with senior leaders to stabilise operations, manage workforce challenges, and support key organisational change initiatives.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide dedicated HR Business Partner support to a large operational division, working closely with leadership to navigate a period of change and ensure continuity across people and culture initiatives.
You will play a key role in supporting a newly appointed senior leader, managing workforce risk, and ensuring effective HR support across a workforce of upto 500 employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR Business Partner support to an operational workforce
- Manage complex employee relations matters , including investigations and case management
- Support leaders through organisational change and transition
- Coach and advise leaders on performance, workforce management and people issues
- Interpret and apply enterprise agreements, policies and employment legislation
- Identify and implement practical HR solutions to support business continuity
- Support capability uplift initiatives, including collaboration with L&D resources
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in complex environments
- Strong employee relations and case management capability
- Experience in manufacturing, operations or blue-collar environments (highly regarded)
- Ability to quickly assess situations and deliver practical, solutions-focused outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills
- Calm, adaptable and able to operate effectively during periods of change
