Role Overview
As the ICT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering a portfolio of ICT projects across enterprise platforms and customer-facing systems. Working under broad direction, you will lead projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring delivery remains aligned to scope, budget, timelines and organisational objectives.
The role requires close collaboration with ICT teams, business stakeholders, operational sites and external vendors to deliver technology solutions that are scalable, secure and sustainable. You will play a critical role in ensuring projects are governed effectively, risks are managed appropriately, and stakeholders remain engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of ICT projects across enterprise systems and operational platforms.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and delivery documentation.
- Coordinate resources across ICT teams, business units, operational sites and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide clear reporting and updates to project governance forums and senior stakeholders.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities including requirements gathering and solution alignment.
- Translate business and operational requirements into practical and achievable project deliverables.
- Support testing, validation, quality assurance and user acceptance activities.
- Contribute to change management, communications and training initiatives to support adoption.
- Manage vendor performance against agreed deliverables, milestones and contractual obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.
- Ensure projects align with organisational governance, security and compliance requirements.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects within complex organisational environments.
- Proven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience working with enterprise applications, digital platforms and systems implementation projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical groups.
- Experience coordinating vendors and third-party service providers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including governance and executive reporting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem solving.
