Role Overview
As the Project Coordinator, you will work closely with delivery and operational stakeholders to coordinate projects, services and portfolio activities across the organisation. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will support delivery leads, project managers and program managers through planning, scheduling, reporting and administrative support activities.
You will play a key role in maintaining delivery documentation, coordinating meetings and communications, supporting portfolio operations and assisting teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and supports agile and service delivery practices across the organisation.
Essential Requirements
- Coordinate project, release, service and portfolio activities to support successful delivery outcomes.
- Support operational continuity across delivery teams when required.
- Collate, maintain and analyse delivery data, preparing reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, resources and key portfolio events.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and support collaboration across delivery teams.
- Assist with the administration of delivery and portfolio management systems and tools.
- Support compliance with internal delivery frameworks, governance processes and risk management practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, retrospectives and optimisation of delivery practices.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across operational and delivery functions.
- Support agile delivery principles and participate in team learning and knowledge sharing initiatives.
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience in project management or software delivery environments favourable but not essential.
- Exposure to Agile, Lean Agile or ITSM delivery practices favourable but not essential.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar delivery tools favourable but not essential.
