About the Company
This is a key role responsible for overseeing the development, review, and management of organisational policies, procedures, and document frameworks. You will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting accreditation processes, and driving best practice across document and records management systems.
This opportunity can be offered as either a full-time permanent position or a contract role, depending on candidate preference and experience.
Working cross-functionally, you will engage with stakeholders to ensure policies reflect operational realities, while also identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review and maintain organisational policies, procedures, and documentation
- Manage document control processes including versioning, review cycles, and registers
- Support compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and accreditation requirements
- Lead or contribute to projects related to policy, governance, and document management
- Conduct audits (e.g. intranet, document, records) and implement improvements
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain improvement registers
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure policies reflect operations
- Provide guidance on document, policy, and records management best practice
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in policy development, governance, or compliance roles
- Strong understanding of document control and records management practices
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and document management systems (e.g. SharePoint, EDRMS)
- Ability to manage projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
- Experience within healthcare, community services, government or regulated environments (desirable)
