People Partner

Role Overview
The People Partner will work closely with portfolio leaders to deliver strategic priorities and create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing employee experience. The role will provide coaching and strategic advice to build emotionally intelligent, adaptive, and empowering leadership, while supporting data-driven and cost-effective decision-making, as well as guide leaders in employee relations, including performance management, grievance resolution, and workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with industrial instruments. The People Partner’s responsibility is to strengthen workforce capability, foster innovation, and promote a respectful culture that reflects the organisation’s values and vision.

About the Person
The successful candidate will be a compassionate and collaborative HR professional who can balance empathy with sound judgment in a community aged care environment. Confident in navigating sensitive issues, they will bring strong communication and coaching skills to support leaders, foster a respectful workplace, and build capability across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders to deliver strategic priorities and create a positive, inclusive workplace.
  • Coach and support leaders to build capability and foster a culture aligned with organisational values.
  • Provide practical HR advice and insights to guide effective people decisions.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including performance, grievances, and investigations.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and compliance in people practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Experiences HR Manager/Business Partner
  • Ability to support performance management processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders with different styles and approaches
  • National Police Check required
