We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer for a 6-month contract to support the delivery and commissioning of a new office network environment. This is a hands-on role working across switching, infrastructure setup, and stakeholder coordination.

Role Overview
You will play a key role in commissioning a new office build, working across a large-scale enterprise network environment. The role will involve deployment and configuration of switching infrastructure, quality assurance of installations, and close collaboration with designers, consultants, and internal teams.
The environment includes a significant Cisco footprint, with Catalyst Centre and Nexus switches forming part of the network architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and deploy network infrastructure for a new office build
- Configure and support ~70 ethernet switches in a Cisco environment
- Work within Cisco Catalyst Centre for device onboarding and provisioning
- Support Nexus switch configuration within the distribution/data centre layer
- Conduct QA on structured cabling, patching, and port labelling
- Collaborate with network designers, consultants, and internal teams
- Assist with WiFi deployment activities in coordination with vendors
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Proven experience delivering enterprise network deployments
- Hands-on experience with large-scale switching environments (50+ switches)
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Centre (DNA Centre)
- Experience working with Cisco Nexus switches
- Solid understanding of structured cabling and installation QA processes
- Experience working in project environments with multiple stakeholders
- Exposure to wireless deployments and vendor coordination
