Role Overview
This is a rare opportunity to lead a trusted, mission aligned media organisation with a strong national footprint. As Manager, you’ll guide the creative and strategic direction of Lutheran Media, champion its voice in the community and inspire a small and passionate team. Your work will shape how stories are told, how communities are engaged and how partnerships are built with congregations, supporters and media outlets. It’s a role with genuine purpose, combining leadership, creativity and relationship building, all while representing the organisation across diverse community and faith-based settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for Lutheran Media
- Oversee production, scheduling and distribution of media content
- Coordinate interviews, podcasts and thematic content
- Represent the organisation in community and faith-based settings, including occasional weekend work
- Build partnerships with congregations, community groups and media partners
- Lead quarterly campaigns and monthly communications
- Manage a team of five and coordinate volunteers
- Prepare Board reports, financial updates and strategic papers
- Promote Lutheran Media nationally and manage travel when required
Essential
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated leadership of staff and volunteers
- Project and stakeholder management capabilities
- Strategic planning and analytical thinking
- Ability to represent the organisation professionally across community and faith based settings
- Experience in media, communications or community engagement
- Experience in the NFP, charity or outreach sectors
- Donor, supporter or stakeholder relationship experience
- Budgeting and financial oversight
- Digital, marketing or content capability
