Harrison McMillan is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving on the spot, and managing their own schedule while delivering results for customers.
About the RoleAs the Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out repairs and remedial works across a variety of installed products. Every day will be different, and you’ll work across multiple materials and job types, including:

Restoring damaged or worn product surfaces to a high-quality finish

Welding, grinding, sanding and preparing surfaces so repairs blend seamlessly

Repainting and touching up affected areas to closely match original finishes

Performing general handyman tasks including drilling, levelling, plumbing fixings and ensuring all work meets industry quality standards

Working across aluminum, steel, stainless steel, glass screens, balustrades, mod wood, timber slats, outdoor furniture and structural elements

Completing minor tasks such as replacing caps, swapping gate latches, and other practical repairs
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can confidently manage both onsite work and basic administrative tasks. You will be comfortable:

Scheduling and coordinating your own jobs with clients

Updating workflow information in a simple Excel-based system

Communicating professionally with internal teams and customers via email and phone

Coordinating with logistics, ordering materials, and requesting purchase orders when required

Liaising with suppliers to source additional fixings or materials as needed

Maintaining strong organisational habits to keep work running smoothly

$86,000–$90,000 + Super (depending on experience)
