Harrison McMillan is seeking a Professional (APS6 - EL1) to work with a Federal Government Department in their corporate team to work on an audit for human resources.
RoleThis role will be part of a small, agile team that supports both operational and strategic HR functions and activities for the Department.
Success-
Conduct a detailed audit of annual, personal, long service leave and prior service leave balances

Review and reconcile leave data between the human resource systems

Manually analyse and validate data using spreadsheets

Identify discrepancies and document findings clearly to present to executives

Prepare structured, accurate and easy-to-understand reports outlining discrepancies and recommended action to rectify any discrepancies

Demonstrated experience in auditing leave balances or similar experience

Background in payroll, finance or a related field

Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Experience in Aurion would be highly regarded

Needs to be able to start immediately

Ability to obtain and maintain police check
This role is for immediate start on an initial 3-month contract
