Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner

Are you passionate about creating safer, healthier, and more resilient workplaces? We are seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Project and Training Consultant to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of initiatives that embed a strong culture of safety and wellbeing across the organisation.

About the Role

As the HSW Project and Training Consultant, you will drive the development and implementation of robust health, safety and wellbeing programs. This includes designing and delivering training to embed safe practices leading projects, and ensuring policies and procedures are practical, effective and aligned with organisational needs. Reporting to the Manager, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening risk management practices and ensuring all systems reflect the organisation’s risk profile.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

· Develop and deliver safety initiatives and training programs, including psychosocial risk management, in line with WHS legislation and organisational requirements.

· Monitor and enhance safety systems, using data and reporting to drive evidence-based decision making.

· Partner with leaders and staff to strengthen safety capability and promote proactive risk-reduction strategies.

· Review and improve health, safety and wellbeing policies and procedures to maintain compliance and support continuous improvement.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

 

About You

You are a confident communicator who thrives in project environments and can balance governance with practical application. You bring:

· Demonstrated experience in WHS system development and implementation.

· Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and frameworks.

· Proven ability to design and deliver training initiatives.

· Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

· Project management experience in a health and safety context.

· (Desirable) A tertiary qualification in WHS Management, Health Science, Psychology, Risk Management or a related discipline.
