Finance Manager

Finance Manager opportunity available for an immediate start, supporting a well-established organisation on an initial 8-week contract. Lead budgeting and financial planning while working closely within a small, collaborative team.

Role Overview
Reporting into senior leadership, the Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations while leading key budgeting activities and contributing to the development of a 5-year business plan. You will manage one direct report and play a hands-on role in ensuring financial accuracy, insights, and performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial management and reporting
  • Lead budgeting processes and financial forecasting
  • Contribute to the development of a 5-year business plan
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making
  • Manage and support one finance team member
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
  • Strong budgeting and financial planning experience
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting and analysis
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to provide strategic insights
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical capability
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a small team
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • National Police Check required
  • Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check prior to commencement
