We are seeking multiple Domestic Workers (Cleaners) to provide in-home cleaning support to aged clients across Adelaide’s metropolitan suburbs (north, south, east and west).
This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering consistent weekday work between 9:00am and 5:00pm, with set clients and regular shifts. You will play a key role in helping people remain living independently in their own homes, while delivering a reliable and high-quality service.
You’ll be supported with structured onboarding, buddy shifts, and ongoing training, making this a great opportunity for those returning to the workforce or looking to enter the aged care sector.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- General household cleaning including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
- Laundry duties including washing, folding, and ironing
- Bed making and general housekeeping
- Following client-specific care instructions via mobile app
- Providing a consistent and reliable service to regular clients
You take pride in a clean and well-maintained home and understand the difference it makes to someone’s wellbeing. You don’t need formal cleaning experience, but you do need strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions.
This role suits individuals returning to the workforce, those seeking stable part-time hours, or anyone looking to move into the community services sector.
You will also have:
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Confidence following written instructions in English
- Physical capability to undertake cleaning tasks
- Availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week (weekday day shifts)
- Current Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check and Working With Children Check
- Willingness to complete a functional (physical) assessment
- Availability to work consistent weekday hours (minimum 3 - 4 hour Shifts)
- $32.86 per hour
- Paid travel time between clients (above award)
- Mileage reimbursement between clients
- Permanent part-time employment with consistent hours (15 - 30 per week)
- Structured onboarding, buddy shifts, and ongoing training
