We are seeking two Commonwealth Home Support Program Support Officers to join the team on a casual basis, working full-time hours (38 hours per week) for an initial 3-month period.
This is a primarily office-based role located in Bowden, with occasional travel required (approximately 2 days per week) to meet with customers face-to-face. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
In this role, you will provide customer-focused administrative support to clients accessing the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), ensuring a smooth onboarding process and ongoing positive customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing high-quality customer service to CHSP clients via phone and email
  • Supporting onboarding and annual reviews for new and existing customers
  • Managing customer enquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with compliance requirements
  • Coordinating services and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducting occasional face-to-face customer visits
About you:
You have a strong customer service mindset and enjoy supporting people through clear communication and organisation. You’re confident managing phone-based enquiries while also handling administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
This role suits individuals with a background in customer service or administration, including those currently studying or returning to the workforce.

You will also have:
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or similar roles
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer systems
  • Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
Eligibility:
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check and Working With Children Check
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Availability to work full-time hours (38 hours per week)
What’s on offer:
  • Casual contract with full-time 38 hours (approx. 3 - month assignment)
  • $48.31 per hour (SCHADS Award Level 3)
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Office-based role with occasional travel
