Role Overview
The Category Support Officer provides administrative and operational support across procurement, contract management, and reporting functions. Working within a collaborative team, you will ensure data accuracy, support compliance obligations, and contribute to efficient buying and contract administration processes.

This role offers variety and the opportunity to work across multiple systems, stakeholders, and supply chain activities.

You are a detail-oriented administrator with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting team outcomes. You enjoy working with data, systems, and processes, and take pride in accuracy and compliance. You are a team player who communicates well and can manage multiple priorities in a structured environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain procurement systems and databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support reporting requirements by collecting, validating, and entering data into templates.
  • Investigate data anomalies and assist with reporting improvements.
  • Provide administrative support across procurement and contract management activities.
  • Assist with contractor management systems, process updates, and audits as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather and confirm information.
  • Contribute to a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative or support roles.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word) desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to source and validate information.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Certificate III in Administration or equivalent experience (desirable).
