ASC is continuing to invest in workforce capability, career development and employee growth as part of its long-term workforce strategy. As a result, we are partnering with ASC to appoint a Career Development Advisor
to join the Career Development team.
Reporting to the Competency & Capability Development Lead, this role will support the rollout and ongoing adoption of ASC's competency framework while contributing to future career development and workforce capability initiatives.
This opportunity will suit someone from an Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Workforce Capability, Talent or People & Culture background who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, facilitating discussions and helping employees navigate development and career pathways.
About the Position
This is a newly created position supporting a significant capability project already underway.
Initially, the role will focus on implementing ASC's competency framework across technical and operational stakeholder groups. Working alongside the Capability Lead, you'll help facilitate competency mapping activities, support stakeholder workshops and assist with the rollout of tools, resources and processes across the organisation.
Over time, the role will broaden into wider career development and workforce capability initiatives as ASC continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation and adoption of ASC's competency framework
- Facilitate competency mapping and capability discussions with stakeholder groups
- Assist with stakeholder workshops, communications and engagement activities
- Develop practical tools, guides and supporting resources
- Support career development and workforce capability initiatives
- Coordinate project activities, schedules and stakeholder engagement
- Build strong relationships across technical and operational business areas
- Contribute to continuous improvement of capability programs and processes
