Role Overview
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development Manager will spearhead new client acquisition and drive business growth across Australia. This role focuses on identifying and securing fresh opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and executing national sales strategies to expand the company’s footprint across states and industries. The Business Development Manager will prioritise winning new business, collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery, and represent Data Sagacity at industry events, conferences, and meetings nationwide.


About the Person
As the Business Development Manager, you will bring a proven track record in proactive business development within the ICT, data, or consultancy sectors, with a history of exceeding targets and driving growth. You will excel in lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals, while maintaining a strategic approach to market expansion. A resilient, confident, and results-driven professional, you thrive on creating opportunities and building networks. Your ability to think commercially and deliver client-focused solutions will be key to success in this role.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Degree and/or relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business administration
  • Proven experience in ICT, data, and consultancy sales processes
  • Track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving growth
  • Expertise in full-cycle sales: lead generation, client acquisition, account management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Confident, resilient, and adaptable with a can-do attitude
  • Strong problem-solver, focused on delivering client-first solutions
