We are currently seeking applications for a Program Manager to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance on a 2-year fixed term.
About the opportunity:
The Program Manager will lead the planning, development, and delivery of whole-of-government cyber security initiatives, including the Cyber Enablement Program.
Using proven project management methodologies, the role will deliver tangible program benefits supported by clear and effective communication strategies. To ensure outcomes are relevant and impactful, the Program Manager will work closely with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across SA Government and Commonwealth agencies.
About you
To be successful you will:
- Develop program management plans, project briefs, costs, outputs, outcomes, budget bids, schedules, business cases and project proposals for Cyber security-related projects.
- Provide specialist advice and active management of programs and projects, including planning, evaluating implementing, reviewing, promoting, and delivering projects.
- Work collaboratively with a range of customers and internal/external stakeholders to implement innovative cyber security projects and initiatives.
- Foster strategic partnerships, encouraging a culture of collaboration and providing expert consultancy advice for the effective delivery of a range projects.
- Provide effective representation of the Cyber Security Directorate and OCIO in meetings with suppliers, contractors, government agencies.
- Lead the development of program monitoring and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of models of government business and influence planning and change processes within government to ensure strategies are implemented in accordance with the Government’s strategic intentions.
