Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities.
ANI is seeking a motivated and professional Administration Officer
to join the Integrated Delivery Office (IDO) team in the Adelaide CBD. This role is well suited to someone early in their administration career who is looking to build experience in a corporate environment, while delivering high-quality customer service and support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative and customer service support across the office
- Greeting visitors and assisting with access, meeting rooms and catering
- Supporting basic procurement, invoicing, expenses and travel arrangements
- Assisting with onboarding activities and maintaining office documentation
- Helping coordinate office activities and contribute to a positive team environment
- Supporting general office operations and responding to requests from staff and visitors
- Assisting with security-related tasks such as escorting visitors when required
You are a professionally presented, friendly and reliable team player who takes pride in providing great customer service and be comfortable with front-of-house responsibilities when required. You enjoy working in a busy environment, are willing to learn, and are happy to support a variety of tasks across the office and demonstrate a growth mindset. You communicate clearly, and are comfortable interacting with a range of people including executive team leaders and general staff, contractors and visitors.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their administration skills within a structured and supportive corporate environment.
You will also have:
- Previous experience in administration, customer service or hospitality (1 - 3 years desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
- A positive, adaptable and team-focused approach
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Demonstrated behaviours aligned with ANI’s values of integrity, collaboration and accountability
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance is essential and a pre-requisite to the position being retained
