Role Overview
This part-time Accounts Officer position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on finance role within a well-established environment. You will manage day to day accounts payable and receivable, perform bank and ledger reconciliations, support month end processes, and ensure accurate and timely financial records.

You will be part of a small, professional team, working alongside experienced leaders. The role offers flexibility with a mix of work from home and in office days, providing a steady and predictable workload.

About the Person
You are reliable, detail-oriented and bring experience across accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations. You are comfortable working within a corporate environment with established processes and take pride in accuracy and accountability.

You are a team player with a positive attitude, able to communicate professionally with both internal stakeholders and external vendors. You bring a proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage your workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process accounts payable and ensure invoices are authorised and accurate
  • Manage accounts receivable, billing, and payment allocations
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records
  • Support month-end reporting, general ledger reconciliations, and journals
  • Identify and report potential risks in day-to-day financial operations
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Around 5 years’ experience in accounts payable/receivable roles
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliations, ledgers, and financial processes
  • Experience with MYOB Acumatica or similar finance systems
  • High attention to detail with strong accuracy and organisational skills
  • Professional, reliable, and collaborative with a positive attitude
  • Experience working within a corporate finance environment
