Internal Recruitment Consultant

Seeking a collaborative Recruiter with strong continuous improvement skills to enhance the recruitment experience.

Role Overview

Reporting into the General Manager – HR, the Internal Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the recruitment function. This role will allow you to provide centralised recruitment support to a large, national organisation. Candidates with experience recruiting across varied sectors are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a thorough end to end recruitment process including undertaking position briefs, writing advertisements, resume assessments, telephone screening, formulating interview questions, conducting interviews with the hiring manager, conducting reference checks, offer management whilst upholding the highest level of customer service for candidates and internal customers alike
  • Provide internal support and advice to Line Managers and the existing HR Department on recruitment best practices
  • Ensure database integrity for recruitment data to ensure accurate reporting
  • Maximise the use of the internal recruitment package, suggesting areas of improvement where need be

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end recruitment assignments
  • Experience recruiting blue collar roles will be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in attracting a diverse range of candidates and aware of contemporary diversity and inclusion practices
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience working with managers
  • Experience working with Recruitment Systems with a high level of database integrity
  • Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
  • Outstanding work ethic, time management and decision-making ability
  • Influencing skills, professional presentation and the ability to multi-task
  • Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement attitude towards work
