Role Overview

The primary objectives of the Engagement specialist is to produce and deliver effective and successful consumer and community engagement activities to support the delivery of services within the organisations footprint to a diverse set of consumers, community groups and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement communications and engagement plans to ensure ‘customer’ groups are suitably informed and engaged
  • Provide expert communications and engagement advice to support the delivery of projects and communications campaigns
  • Capture engagement results to help inform project deliverables and outcomes
  • Provide expert communications and engagement advice to support the delivery of projects and communications campaigns
  • Contribute to strategies that improve the quality of engagement within the organisation
  • Participate in Quality Improvement strategies and programs including the identification of performance standards and opportunities for efficiencies
  • Develop engagement materials including discussion papers, presentations, invitations, speeches and other content for various audiences
  • Deliver engagement workshops and events in a collaborative and interpersonal way

 

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Relevant demonstrated experience in a similar field (3 years minimum)
  • High stakeholder engagement experience
  • Proven ability to handle multiple complex projects
  • Must be effective in time management
