DisAbility Living since inception in 1984 has undergone significant growth and continue to strive and deliver the most inclusive and respectful care solutions for people living with a disability. Disability Living is a true disrupter through strategies to integrate, educate and empower people with a disability to live as they choose. The organisation now currently provide support to over 300 clients and employ more than 260 staff including an innovative team of Developmental Educators. The service model, now under the NDIS provides further opportunities to invest and diversify. DisAbility Living are now looking for their next Chief Executive Officer to drive the disruption, innovation and person centred approach to the next level and position the business in the market as a true leader in the sector and the provider of choice for people with a disability.
Reporting through to the Board of Directors, The Chief Executive Officer will lead and develop the executive team and drive success through strategy development and implementation. The Chief Executive officer will have accountability for the outcomes around organisational policy, process and compliance to ensure that the business is using best practice service models and achieving commercial outcomes through current and potential partnerships. This position is the key advocate for the organisation and will be required to foster and nurture opportunities for both private and public stakeholder engagement and partnership opportunities. The Chief Executive Officer will also have oversight and accountability for corporate governance and service quality of the organisation.
The new Chief Executive will be a commercially astute executive with a demonstrated track record of identifying new opportunities for business growth and strategic diversification. With a values driven leadership style that is inclusive and aspirational, the Chief Executive Officer will possess credibility in a highly regulated environment coupled with significant experience in managing complex and politically sensitive relationships . The successful candidate will be a proven and empathetic negotiator with social justice and inclusion as key drivers.
