Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate sales/marketing professional with solution sales experience and great account management skills.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is perfect for someone that thrives on building strong relationships based on mutual trust and respect. To be successful in this role you will need to have demonstrated B2B sales experience, with a passion for building relationships with new and existing clients. You will be required to work autonomously and use your consultative problem-solving skills to identify leads, negotiate solutions, and maximise closed sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a steady sales pipeline, working to annual top-line growth targets
  • Meet and surpass sales targets
  • Respond to RFI’s and RFT’s and an understanding of legal and commercial implications
  • Build relationships with multi-level customer contacts, including C-level executives
  • Current account management and solution selling to new clients
  • Responsible for actively pursuing new business via cold calling, networking events, and client visits

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven success in B2B sales and demand generation experience
  • Advanced time management and prioritisation skills
  • Experience working with a CRM and marketing integration platforms
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionally presented with superior interpersonal skills, particularly in client management
  • Experience or interest in learning, performance and talent management technologies
  • Willingness to travel interstate occasionally for sales opportunities with Project Manager will be required
